Etalinq is the first IT company in Lithuania that implemented a management system and was certified under ISO/IEC20000-1:2005, a standard tailored for IT companies. The audit was performed by independent and globally-recognised Bureau Veritas.
What is ISO 20000?
This globally-recognised IT services management standard derives from the model of the British Standard BS15000 and is combined with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC). ISO 20000 has been developed to provide IT services management and infrastructure — both internal and outsourced — with consistency, which would be beneficial to both employees and customers. The ultimate goal is effective overall IT service management. The standard is based on key processes ranging from service personnel’s reporting to the management, IT service budgeting and accounting to information security, management of suppliers, incidents, changes and information disclosure.
What are the key benefits?
ISO20000 certification helps companies improve and streamline IT processes, increase productivity and provide a controlled, consistent high-quality delivery of services internally and externally for extended networks and end-users. It shows the company’s commitment to foster reliable IT services and infrastructure, enhancing employees’ satisfaction and performance, while improving the company’s image.
Other key benefits include:
• Increased productivity reduces costs

• IT sector recognises ISO20000 all over the world
